I have a Sony Ericcson P990i, and when ever I turn it on, it just flashes white, then to a default dark blue colour, then turns off, but repeats, over and over. I've tried charging it, but it won't turn on that way either. I think it has something to do with a failed update, because I've updated it once, and happened shortly after.
I can't turn it on, so I can't connect it to the PC to do a successful update.
Can any of you help?

The updating doesn't require turning the phone on... Just download SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) and update the firmware... it will work if your problem is software...

it says this when i try to update
1. make sure the phone is fully charged
2. Connect the usb to the usb port of your pc
3. Turn off your phone
4. Remove and reinsert the phone battery
5. Press and hold the C button while plugging the USB cable into your phone
6. Continue holding the C button
,I push down the C button, then on the screen it tells me to release it, so I do,
it gets to identification, and it fails.
