Hi there, good afternoon.

I´ve had this mobile for a week now, but it´s Vodafone branded, sh1t3...
It´s unlocked, but I´d like to debrand it asap, hoping the few bugs it´s got will disappear.
Any way to do this? thanks for the info

Hi there,

Thanks for the link, it looks like they can do the debrand, but it´s for the W980i, mine is W980, although I think they are the same...
Just one question, if I do the debrand through DV, when a new firmware comes ot on the Sony Ericsson web, can I then upgrade it there? or will my phone be restricted in some sort to the Sony Ericsson web upgrades?
I´ve never used DV before, so I dont know how that works, thanks for the info

Do I just need the standard usb cable to be able to debrand the W980?

If i do the debrand and then update it via the sony software will it put the branding back on?

By debranding will it remove all the protected files?

Anywhere else that does it cheaper?
