I have followed the guide you gave me and finally found all the main, FS and patch, but keep coming up with this message,

"Configuration error, please contact network operator for information"

Can you suggest anything else now

Please, Please, Please........................................................................
going out of my mind, I know I'm the right track

Cheers

You need to patch your phone with the SIMLOCK remove patch...

You can do this only if your phone is CID52 (or lower)... If it is CID53, it wouldn't be possible to unlock it for free... Anyway, here is a DB2020 patching tutorial:

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=170700

download the simlock patch generator from here:

http://www.4shared.com/file/3[....]ck_Patch_Generator_21.html?s=1

and you will need a copy of your MAIN firmware (exactly the same as the one you have in your phone)... You can download it from www.4shared.com - use it's search.

Hope this helps you.
