Hey,

My K750i camera lens shuttle is broken so the camera won't recognize it when i open it.

I've heard that it is a patch around so the phone disables the open lens cover function? I do not want to solder or anything.

Get a new cover ...

I had the same problem on my W800. It somehow worked but it was just a mess.

i figured its easy to just get a new cover.

Well, the problem is not with the cover, but with the camera flex. The micro switch on your camera flex is broken. It can be solved by replaceing the camera flex or soldering it so it will have short circuit in opened position, or try to find the right patch method that will deactivate the micro switch.

If you don't want to change the cover or you cannot find one to buy you have still solution for your problem. You can apply the "ignore closed latch" patch to your phone.

There are 2 versions that should be available on www.4shared.com or www.se-nse.com.

- ignore closed latch
- ignore closed latch v2

Look for patches for your exact phone model and firmware version. Never apply a patch for other firmware, it will damage your phone...

Here is DB2010 patching tutorial:
