hello,

i am looking to purchase an antenna for use in my home as it is currently a mobile dead zone, i do get reception when standing in some parts of the hosue so i would like to be able to add a mast to my roof in order to pick up more signals? or perhaps a mobile signal booster, like the WIFI boosters you can purchase? if these exist, as im sure ive seen them somewhere. i have also noticed things called 'femtocells' and would like to know if you can purchase these anywhere. if so a link would be great.

thanks

Femtocells are still sadly very business orientated and as such not suitable for home use (unless of course your house is a big office block) well they are in the UK anyway, I hear Tmo are thinking about it, they've invested a lot of money into it, so watch this space if your on tmo..

As for any other network, only thing I can really think of that will help you in the short term is a bluetooth headset, leave your phone where it picks up network, and get floats mobile agent or some equivalent for your PC and you can send/receive texts on that and calls will come through via your :bt: headset.... antennae things have never really worked from what I've heard.
