hey. i am in ottawa. i have a T68i on Rogers...

is Fido really better than Rogers? if so, how? i'll be looking to change service in 3 months....

what about Zero Gravity? (www.zerogravity.net)

i bought a Ready4U Motorola C332 GSM phone for $59 ($39 off as a grand opening special at my Rogers store) and got my T68i for xmas. just popped the sim in my T68... with the $20 mail in rebate thats four months of service for $39... not bad.

thanx

rogers is a dump
fido is by far the best thing to be offered in canada in my opinion

t68i with a rogers chip gvs u like half the amount of reception u cld actually get..
it's a scientific fact that rogers sim cards are made by monkeys...

Fido! 1st of 2 posts. First off i can send and receive email directly thru email client of my T39m. So u can on your T68, WITHOUT wap like Rogers. Havent tried sending pics via email & MCA-25 but should work. This post was posted from a T39

Fido! 2nd of 2 posts.also i can change status of divert, accept calls, change call waiting directly thru my phones menu.Rogers u must type in arcane codes 4 each feature separately by making cell calls. Not good when daytime minutes r being used, cant b done when no signal but GPRS signal is present. This post was posted from a T39

Fido! Even with LongDistanceSuperSaver option ur still paying 5 cents more per minute on long distance calls in Canada, and much more and less coverage in USA! phones may be more expensive but on contract 2 rip u off! Better reception 2, but this last 1 is just my opinion. This post was posted from a T39

Hi,
I'm currently using Fido GPRS, by all means, it kicks butt... I'm using t68i, Billionton USB BT Dongle and my VAIO laptop and my Visor Handheld, when I'm travelling from Windsor (near US border) to Toronto and was surfing the net, connection was flawless, even though I didn't download anything (3cents/k is quite expensive), respone was quick, so if you like to GPRS surf (both on palm/PC), fido kicks!!
I use a pay per use plan... but perhaps consider a $50/month for infinite access --> 24/7 stay on!!

btw, Rogers does not offer GPRS.. so its pointless to join Rogers ... they do offer GSM internet.. 14.4k, not enough to load a webpage quickly
