I don't know about that file exactly but sometimes files cannot be edited/changed or deleted/replaced as they are in use all the time which makes them some sort of "protected files"...

Try to cut/paste to another folder (I use a folder on my memstick as trashbin, can be cleared with computer). Then copy the edited file and it should work. You could also try to rename the original file (just ad one character) and then copy the edited file. Both options worked for me on my G900 (with CapsSwitch and SwissManager). It's a workaround, using a kind of system safety-bug. Somehow these "protected" files can't be deleted even with caps off, but they CAN be moved! Hope it works for you too.

Well why do you need that file for???

In fact i have read on se-nse.com that someone suceeded to make shadow copies of the files from the Z drive on the memory stick. Not 100% sure though but you can use the search. Maybe you will find something.

As far as I know, you must close main menu, to get access to Alaunch.rsc and mod it
