Hi,
There is a number in the display just above left soft key (above calls).
Whats the meaning.

The W580i has motion training - that means it tracks how many steps you've done the whole day! Kinda like Walk-Omitors. That number is saying how many steps you have done (Thats a simulation so thats jest any random number SE put on for the try the phone section, lol.)

Its has a pedometer(or maybe an accelerometer acting like a pedometer). That means it counts the number of steps you have taken while the phone was with you.

Yes, it shows how much distance you have been walking or running. How much time you spent, and how many steps you took. I hope thats what you wanted to know.
