Bought a w910i about a couple of weeks ago. Great phone but the signal sucks with orange inside my house so I want to switch.

Fortunately, I got sent a phone which was completely unlocked as opposed to one that should have been locked to orange so I had the option of switching networks easily.

However, I fell in love with the number that I got with my orange simcard and I want to keep it. After phoning orange around 12 times for the PAC code I was eventually told that customers must be with orange for atleast three months before requesting a PAC code...

Is this something against OFCOM regulations? Their signal is horrible inside my house and I am hardly able to make, receive or maintain calls.

Would really appreciate some input into this.

Maybe ask Orange to send you out some information in black and white.

Read through it all and then call them back if it doesn't mention anything.

Personally i'd mention OFCOM/Trading Standards to them on the phone that normally gets companies motivated as they don't want the bad press.
