I tried posting this in the G900 discussion yielding no response, so I'm trying it as a new thread.

1. Has anyone used their G900 as a mobile sat nav?

2. What are u using and how it is on the battery?

3. Do u use it primarily for walking or driving?

Thanks!!

I tried using TomTom on my P1 and Gmaps. But not for walking or driving purpose. Only testing them with bluetooth PAN connection... If that helps you I can say they are great.

I use TomTom 6, and Sygic Drive while driving, both are very good and dont seem to drain that much power from the battery.

thanks for the replies! really glad to know that the battery isn't sucked dry using sat nav.

i read up on tomtom and noticed that they are strong in europe but not asia (i am in asia). seems like garmin is stronger in this part of the world and there is something called the garmin mobile xt.

anyone using that?

Well TomTom RULEZZ foe europe imo. I don't know about other continents, but you can try other apps to find one that suits your living place the best.
