Hi, I just flashed my k800 to k810, but the camera key dont work. It won't focus or take a picture, but it can be used to go into camera mode. When i press the joystick it takes a picture though i can't hold focus, could I map the camera key to be the same as pressing down the joystick?

thanks

I don't know about that but I have tried flashing k800 to k810 many times and never had such problems... Try reflashing the phone with different firmware files. It may work for you...

Hi, i flashed the phone to k800 r8bf003, to no change. The camera key dont work now either. Maybe it is a hardware fault

What happens if you flash the wrong cda? If you select a different one in xs++..

thanks

You mean if you customize the phone with different custpack??? If so you will get only english language in it. Other languages won't appear in the settings menu.

And if you flash with wrong MAIN and FS files (incompatible ones) your phone will be dead.

Well I don't think it's software related problem after all you said. I have flashed K800 to K810 you know and never got any single problem with the camera button... Try flashing back to K800 firmware and see if it works (but I don't believe it will)... So it maybe a hardware fault aswell.

P.S. Buttons on K800 get messed up only if you flash the phone with W880 firmware.

It dosen't respond to focus, (if it should say that) and it says camera capture when i press it all the way down. So if i guess it wont take a picture because it dosent register the focus button..
