Does newer SE phones no longer display the "Optimum Charging" message when connected to a charger? I have a C702 phone.
Anyone know the difference between optimum charging and normal charge?
I'll never get the 100% charged message either. Best I've seen is 98%. Faulty unit or battery?

Actually it is not displayed on my P1 too. It was in my K800 before. So UIQ smartphones doesn't display that message. But at least you have the battery indicator moving when the battery is charging.
P.S. The P1 also has a light LED that glows green when you are charging the phone. I don't know about C702. It is not smartphone, it should display it... not sure though.

Nah it doesn't. In fact I didn't see it on any of my latest phones (Z800, P990) so wouldn't expect it anymore. Just one of those things that I guess is being phased out.

The phones you mentioned don't have that option... While my W800 and K800 had.

Hmm sad to hear that. It was an option that most of the

users were addicted on. Can anyone confirm if it is the same with K850. Does the K850 has this or not? Or all new platform (3150) phones lack this "feature"???

Hmm so that option is firmware and model related stuff. Some phones has it and some now... I don't see the point why

removed it... It was useful indicator!

About the percentage. My W800 used to charge to 100% and when the charger was removed, it was instantly falling down to 96%. My K800 was using from 100% to 0%. And the P1 also.
