Im really not sure which one to get, can some one please answer some questions i have about the two.
1.) Which is faster, G900 or W960
2.) Is it easy to install mods? It seems confusing.
3.) On w960 review it says the walkman player is not pratical and easy to use (scrolling throungh albums nd tracks) is this true? Is the player on the G900 more pratical ?
4.) Can you make all icons and lists bigger on w960, ive read you need to use the stylus a lot?
5.) What would you get? Price not an issue? nor camera

1. G900 should be faster. W960 is slowing down as the storage gets filled up. This is no hands on experience. It is according the review of
www.gsmarena.com of the W960
2. Mods are easy to install. Just folow my tutorial for Symbian UIQ modding:

3. I'm using Walkman 3 from W960 on my P1 (modded) and I find it very practical. In fact I like more the Media Center app from the G900, but I don't have it in my phone yet...
4. I think you can only change fonts. Don't know exactly if you can get the icons and fonts bigger but you will use it with fingers no problem when you get used to it. It just needs some time while you get used to the phone. For example I don't have any problems using the phone completely with fingers.
5. Well If you like more the camera and don't need huge built in memory, go for the G900. It's better in overall, but lacks some music features imo. Anyway it is better than the W960... You should go for it.

Ok i have compared them both live, so heres what i have to say
1> g900i is faster than w960i although their processor speed is same!
It boots in lees than 40 sec while w960i takes about 1min or more.
2> I have never installed mods, so i cant comment.
3> Walkman player is very practical, and one of the best i have seen so far, even better than stand alone mp3 players(ipod, sony's B series)
4>Its been almost 9 months since i own w960i, and i think i used stylus less than 10 times! Its almost useless.
5> Well, G900i is slimmer, and the notes application is fun to use, but not sure if its goin to be in handy in real life. Its standby application is more practical and useful and its over all faster. So i might have bought it considering those, but w960i's touch sensitive buttons( and 8gb of high speed flash memory) and walkman application is more important for me(it looks beeter too).
Well if i had to buy a phone now, i would go for x1i or the w960's sucessor which i hope to see in late Q4 or early 2009.

About the stylus, the W960 has also designed walkman player for using more with fingers... That was the main reason why I installed it on my p1...

still happy with my W960 after 9 months use pity the replacement is a clam design don't know what phone to replace it with come upgrade time as none of the new designs appeal to me
