OK I'm sorry this subject has been disscussed at length here regarding different phones etc, I wanted something more specific for the P1i as I'm not sure of the benefits or issues with doing unbranding or even quite how to do it. So I have a few questions which may be the best way to approach this.
Am I correct in saying that I need the default world generic files on my PC before I start this and if so where can I get them ?
First I do not have my phone yet, will have an O2 P1i in a few days, I currently have a P910.
Questions
1. What exactly is the advantage of unbranding my O2 new P1i which as I understand is not heavily branded anyway.
2. If the advantage is great then can someone post here a simple to follow step by step guide.
3. What is the risk/reward in doing this.
I also want to update the music player to the W980 player, I would like to do this from the start, considering this what order should I do this, If I do this will SEUS overwrite this at a later date if I use it.
