Wouldn't it be great if you could just sync your contacts and calendar with your Yahoo account without worrying about software, Pc's, etc?!

Please contact Yahoo! and let them know that you'd like their contact and calendar databases to be accesible by your SyncML compliant T68.

Here is the link for Yahoo! feedback. The more people that ask, the more likely it is to happen!

To Gomichealkgo and all Esato posters:

Wouldn't it be better if we ask SonyEricsson to put up Sync ML site and apps that cater for us Ericsson phone users?

Imagine the following:
1.Being able to view, edit and synchronize your PC's PIM (Outlook) via web and celfone's PIM client via wap.
2.Your web and wap PIM synchronize each other automatically, you can sync your PC & your celfone.

In short, a closed loop multipoint synchronization package using a single web/wap site and a single apps only Ericsson can give us. This will not be costly for them, they can just modify the existing Mobileinternet site. And their customers will remain loyal to their products with this service giving them long term business returns.

The only way to achieve this setup (with some missing links) at present is to use piece meal arrangement: XTDConnect for Outlook & T68, truesync plus for Outlook & yahoo, truesync.com for T68 & web & PC, etc.

Of course, it will be better if we have some third options. How about campaigning for both (yahoo & ericsson) at the same time?

I have been suggesting this to some ecs.ericsson.se people but maybe I am only one. I need everybody's help.

I don't think it's a good idea. What if (god forbid) I get rid of my ericsson phone? The whole reason for using the Yahoo service is that I am not physically tied to any one computer, internet service provider, cell phone company, etc.

I would hate to have to re-input all of my info in several years when I get a different handset.

And another question is would you be willing to pay for the service? There really isn't too many "free" services on the web nowadays.

I think that if you want to most of this stuff that has been discussed you should probably just buy a p.d.a. will the p800 sync in this way?
