I broke my iphone 2G the other day and got a k850i. I like it a lot, but the main reason I bought it was because the 5MP camera, which to me, isn't all that great. I've given up on having a cell phone camera replace my compact camera. I'd much rather carry around a digital camera to get nicer photos.
With that being said, the one thing I want that the k850i doesn't have a GPS navigation system. I need one for my car these days and I know Nokia has a few of them.
Here's what I need on the phone:
-GPS
-Email Client (I want to be notified whenever I get emails rather than checking my inbox every second)
-Good Web Browser
-Camera (Nothing fancy, as long as it takes pictures)
-3G/Edge Speeds.
If anyone is familiar with this.. I'm on an ATT plan with an Media Net Unlimited plan. I DONT want to switch to a PDA plan.

Sounds like you need......... another iPhone!
N-series is worth a look, particularly the N95 or if you can wait for a while there's the C905 but 2.4" is about as big as SE screens get ATM which IMO limits their internet usability, but Opera Mini improves things alot.

No more iphones for me. I've had bad luck with apple products.. and it doesn't have a GPS.
Web browsing on the small screen suprisingly, is not even a huge issue for me. I adapted very quickly to the SE screen.
Basically I just want a GPS. I was set out to buy a stand alone GPS for my car today, but thought about getting one that's built into a phone. How do phone GPS' compare to a stand alone one? The N95 in paticular?

Whether you take cameras, mp3 players or GPS reveivers : dedicated devices always perform better than a phone (any phone !).
Though a phone can serve as an all-in-one device when you don't want to carry a lot of stuff and the N95 is a decent allrounder.
Stand-alone GPS receivers have better chipsets than the N95, they find more satellites, get a fix much faster and hold it better.

Get N82. It has a good camera, GPS, and internet capability.
Or just wait C905. IMO, it's worth to wait, knowing the fact that it can replace some digicam.
Psst... My Canon iXus digicam is a crap compared to C905.

The camera thing isn't really an issue to me anymore. I don't think any phone can replace my Canon G9.. or at least I hope it won't.
What I'm looking for now other than web browsing and a good email client, is a GPS. But like mentioned above, I'm reading that most phone GPS will never be as good as a stand alone unit.. so it looks like I'll just stick with my k850i.
Unless someone has personal experience with both a stand alone unit and GPS phone?

You could just get a Bluetooth GPS reciever for your K850. I think it supports that with Google Maps, not sure though.
