Hi guys

I'm going to buy a new MP3/MP4 player. My requirements are:

> Very good / superb audio quality [MUST]
> 2 inch or bigger screen (to watch some videos)
> Good / very good headphones included (ear-in)
> At least 4 GB memory
> Nice interfase and design
> Good battery life

So far I think that the only one that fills my requirements is the Sony A805. I heard it has very good sound, crisp screen (QVGA, 2 inches), good ear-in headphones included (cause I don't wanna buy separate headphones), and very nice interfase.

So, any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Hows about the this one?
It looks good and has a big screen.

Alternatively, you could buy a Zune.

I own an ipod nano 8GB and to be honest I think ipods are overrated. The Sony NW-A series are excellent, yes, better than ipods.

Recently put my nano against the old W880i and the results were shocking to say the least! By the way, my music is at 320kbs and nothing less than that.

Yeah I'd recommend a Sony too. Right now I've got one hooked up to my ears with expensive Sony headphones too and the sound is excellent. I've had an iPod Nano 2nd Gen and a iPod 30GB 5th Gen and neither of them come even close to the Sony sound even with these same headphones. Sony is very very good for strong bass and clear, good quality sound.

Not saying that iPods are crap. I just find the sound from Sony units much better for me.

I had an ipod touch and the quality wasn't bad, but when paired with sony headphones, the sound quality was far better!

@>500, great choice there! I was about to recommend that as well. Moreover, the A720 series comes with great earphones.

Thanks everyone

The A720 series are amazing, but they're not available here yet But it seems like Sony has the best sound quality, so I'll go with a Sony

good choice.

try get the nw-a81x series. if you go the nw-a80x series, you have to use sonicstage, sony's media management software, like itunes, but some thought it was not user friendly. i personally didnt have a problem with it.

so try get a nw-a818 (8gb) or nw-a816, they support drag n drop.

and try ebay, do an international search, can get cheap from usa, or amazon.

Yup, if the A720/820 series are not available, get the A810 series. I never quite liked Sonicstage myself, but ATRAC is a very good audio format though.
