> W910i SMS Delivery Reports
Bookmark topic
Hi Guys,
I have just purchased a Brand New Unlocked w910i from the Carphone Warehouse here in the UK.
When I go to Messaging -> Settings -> Text message, all I have is Service centre, SMS Access and Max. msg length menus, I don't have Validity period, Rquest reply, Delivery reports etc.
Now I checked SEUS and have installed the latest firmware R1FA035, but it is still the same.
I would really like to be able to use delivery reports for SMS.
Do you guys have any ideas?
Thanks,
Norman.

That option may be located somewhere else... Try searching harder... Master reset or SEUS cannot help you reviving missing items from the menu imo... Not in this case though...

If it is branded, you can debrand it using totalgsm service though.

Cooperate with him. Help each other.. Actually I prefer the free way of flashing, but for 3150 platform users, totalgsm seems to be great.

Hi.
No the phone is unbranded and unlocked and has the latest firmware version.
Are no other w910i users experiencing the same problems?
Can other w910i users set delivery reports for SMS>
Thanks.

I have a debranded w910 and it is showing all of the options including delivery reports.
I would try a different networks sim it it just to see if it's the network that's not allowing it to be shown.

are you on o2 by chance?
either way, on (almost) any network you can prefix the message with *#0 and you will get a delivery report
