I think thats a very good deal in my opinion. You get unlimited internet for a year use any cloud or Bt open zone wifi and O2 3G internet. You can pick a pay and go tariff to go along with it.

Plus after a year £10 for unlimited date. Sounds like a great deal.

your paying way more if you take out a contract, £99 for the iphone on a £30 a month tariff over 18 month = £639.00

Yes, but if over the same amount of time (18 months) you had an iPhone pay as you go, and topped up the £10 a month for internet AND another £10 a month for actually making calls and texts, you're looking at £709 for 18 months.

So, if you're actually going to use it, even the cheapest contract is still cheaper.

This is for those who have bad credit rating, don't like contracts (moaning old minnies ), have no will power over their spending, or are generally insistant that they want pay as you go, even if it costs them twice as much...

Oh, and the reason all shop staff have been saying it's Christmas is because that's what we were told, we know/knew no more than the rest of you, I kid you not.

O2 are unable to unlock a prepay phone unless you have been using a prepay o2 sim card in the phone for atleast 12 month's.

Plus they won't even unlock it for even a charge during them 12 month's.
