I have problem with the phone (brand new). Its sometime turn itself off when charging and can't be turned on unless i remove the battery and put it back again. So what i did is perform a Master Reset. Now it has been 10 Minutes but the phone still has yet to reboot, the screen and keypad backlight however is still on ever since i performed the Master Reset. Please Help.

Maybe master reset it again? Or re-SEUS it as I presume you've already tried SEUS.

I have yet to try SEUS. I managed to Master Reset my phone now. I just remove its battery and put it back in again and the phone seem to start its Master Reset process and completed successfully. Will now proceed with SEUS, is my order of doing things okay?

Yeah. I would have tried SEUS first if I were you. But yeah, what you're doing is fine.

My bad for not trying SEUS first since i use logic as if it was a PC; We try to reset/restore first before try to reinstall the Whole OS. Thanks for your advice. Will keep that in mind.

Well on a phone, its far easier to reinstall the firmware because to master reset it means you have to go and set everything up how you like it, etc. Which could take some time!

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately for me, i learn it the hard way.

BTW, is it a common problem for G502 to turn off by itself while charging using wall charger and can't be turned on untill we remove the battery?

Well not many people here have the G502, so I don't know if that's common for that model, but it certainly is a problem... If SEUS doesn't work, is there any chance of returning it to the store to get a replacement?

In my country, costumer/consumer right isn't exactly high in the priority list. So i don't think i can easily send it to the store and get replacement. So far SEUS seems to work. Will report back about this particular issue after a few hours since im currently charging the phone and I'm now watch it closely to see whether or not the "Self Power Off" has been cured. So far so good though.

Ok good luck mate. Btw, does KL in your name stand for Kuala Lumpur? I went there a few years ago and I loved it!
