I have a W960i that has developed a fault because iv dropped it to much, basically the touch screen doesn't work anymore so all i have to use is the jog dial on the side so i called up o2 and as i have insurance they where able to offer me a replacement, the 4 phones they offered me was the N81 8gb, K850, LG viewty or the normal N95. Now tbh im not happy with any of those phones so she gave me a number to call back on when iv chosen.
My question is if i wait a bit do you think the 4 options will change? or shell a demand a different phone?

Demand a different phone! Say that you want a replacement W960i or better! The insurance is supposed to cover your phone right? If so they should replace your phone with a new one, not give you another phone that is worth less! Tell them you want a replacement W960i

Ya i was thinking exactly the same thing, the only thing is that apparently SE have stopped making the W960 so i might try the nice approach first and say i need the w960 because i need a smart phone and i need 8gb and atleast a 3mp camera, so that way they have to offer me the N95 8gb, or they could be cheeky and give me the normal n95 with an 8gb stick.

Worth a try. And the nice approach first, and then followed by the threats.

Did it, called up and said i need 8gb and she but me on hold and came back and said it should have been the N95 8gb that was offered, but when i called up the first time i specifically asked weather or not it was the 8gb, never-mind at least it all sorted now

Be careful that they are not offering the n95 with an 8GB memory card

Its all sorted now got the 8gb black n95, i would have happily got the w960 again but apparently SE have stopped making them, dunno if thats true but thats what they told me. Didn't have to pay an excess either which is good
