So I've been trying to install an sis file to my P1i (the free pdf+ upgrade) and I continually get the "installation file is corrupt" error. I thought this might be a problem with the file so re-downloaded it and also got e-mailed a version directly, but still got the same error.
I then tried uninstalling some old applications that I no longer need and get the same error "installation file is corrupt". So it happens whenever I try and install or uninstall something.

This hasn't been a problem in the past (or at least not until I installed Walkman 3.0) so I don't know what's wrong. Is it a problem with the Walkman 3.0 hack or is it something else? (If I have to remove Walkman 3.0 then I will)

that happened to me sometime ago...you might have deleted some file from the system that you shouldn´t...

solution: format your internal drive, to get all to factory state

and next time, pay attention to the files you mess with

I just followed these instructions: http://forums.se-nse.net/inde[....]8efc58180&showtopic=27191&st=0

Is there a mistake in them?

Master reset should do the trick as ares said.

well...the instructions are fine...but some little detail might have gone wrong

unless someone knows what files are implied in the instalation process, and you can fix that by copying and restoring the missing files, your only option is to format the internal memory

nevertheless, you can try copying the sys and system folder from Z drive to C drive, it might fix it

If you don't have experience don't do that... master reset is easier.

I messed up my phone once. Much more than you. Master reset fixed it.

YOUR C:\\SYS\\INSTALL\\INTEGRITYSERVICES ....DIRECTORY GOT CURRUPTED. IF YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF THE DIR THEN RENAME THE CURRUPTED DIR TO XXXX AND COPY THE GOOD DIR TO C CDRIVE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE TRY FROM Z DRIVE.
