ok ive got a PC at home which runs on XP with SP3.its got a PCI WLAN card and i have a cable internet connection.
now i want my Laptop which has built-in wifi to share files and access Internet over WLAN frm my PC.

i actually got it all working but then my internet stopped working on my laptop.i then set it up all again but no help.and my networking also fails when i restart my laptop.even my p1i is failing to browse the internet over WLAN.

so can you just give me step by step instructions?

xp and vista both regularly drop wireless connections. however to set up sharing right click on the folder you want to share > click properties > go to the sharing tab > and enable files to be shared using this computer >tick the box that says share this folder on a network. then browse to my network places on the other computer and the folder should be in there
