> K850i vs W890i

Hi there!
I'm thinking about buying a new phone, but I can't really decide between these two phones.
Mainly, I would use it as a music player, but as I know, w890i has a really crappy camera, so my main question is:
How is the w890i's music quality compared to k850i's? Is it a way better?
Because if not, I think I should buy the k850, it costs more only 30 euros.

all A200 phones (w910, w760, w890, k850, c702, c902, etc) have same sound (except for w980 who have better bass & clear audio experience), so its no difference between the sound at w890 and k850.

But just look at the K850i Firmware Overview Thread, and you will see dozens and dozens of people with nightmare stories of the K850i. There is a reason they have stopped making it so soon.
I would choose the W890i, it is more reliable. The K850i is yesterdays phone and is loaded with potential problems.
If however you consider the camera poor, look elsewhere. The K800i, K810i, K770i & C902 for example have great cameras and are very reliable.

Go for the K850i at your own risk. As stated above, you may be lucky and get a decent. The W890i on the other hand is as stable as a rock, I have one and I can assure you it is good.
The differences between the two are: better camera on the K850i (auto focus and 5Mp) and the accelerometer. Oh, the screen is slightly bigger on the K850i- 2.2 vs 2 inches.
The W890i is slimmer and better built. The negatives on the W890i are- weak speaker for ringtones (tiny sound) and tiny keypad. Its vibrate function is also rather weak.
So, weigh your options carefully and decide. You may also want to consider the C902 as mentioned by marty.

besides, my unbranded k850 with 031 fw works like a clock, it take good pics, it runs smothly, etc, etc...so yes, K850 is a better choice. (i will suggest unbranded here)
(you think this ~20 people who have issues with latest firmwares (here on esato software forum) make the global truth about latest firmware ???? of course not.
.most people with full working k850 dosent even speak inside the software forum, just because its no problem to speak about.

We're not living in a vacuum, there's life outside Esato. You've always defended the K850i even when others had a hard with it. Now, if you read my post carefully you'll realise that the OP has choices. There are people I know who still have problems with their K850s.
Try and be objective for once. I pointed that the OP may be lucky enough to get a decent K850i. I never for once implied that all K850s are bad.

i have/had two k850, both work good. (now i talk about the UI/interface)
first fw was unstable, but new ones is more stable, runs more smothly. (now i talk about the UI/interface)
i (also) know several friends with k850 and they have no major problems.
the only thing i know is that the mediaplayer runs little slower if you use a lot of stuff, (but thats quite normal), and auto pics dosent have good colors...thats it i guess.
ps...i give a ratass about defending k850 or not..its a very good phone in my eyes.
