I use the default web browser on the phone as well as Opera mini 4.1 Opera mod 2.05 and ucweb 6 .

Try to use opera mini mod v2.06. Is there a free wap site that you can browse using the default browser of your phone? What is the homepage of your network provider?

I was browsing and downloading for free using IDEA network. My and around 8-10 of my friends used it for around 4 months before IDEA came to know about the glitch. Trick was to activate Rs.15/day plan and keep balance below Rs.5 so that no balance could get cut, at the same time I could use unlimited net.

I have heard that similar trick works with AIRTEL. Activate Rs.12/day plan and keep balance below Rs.5. And use unlimited net.

New trick for IDEA is to activate GPRS UNLIMITED plan(Rs.30/day) and keep the balance between Rs.5-7, by this way only 50 paisa gets cut per day.
I have 2 SIM cards. 1 for browsing and 1 for regular calls and SMSs, hence I can still use this trick.

I have no idea about VODAFONE though.

There are many sites for free browsing but they all are within the Airtel domain.
But a very few sites for free outside the airtel domain.
