I have a W760i and I want to know if i should update the firmware via SEUS or manually flashing with xs++. I've already looked at sites that have W760i firmware but there are over 50 links to choose from and different firmware versions. What is the current latest firmware version for the W760i. The one I have is 1205-2512 R3BA035 080521. Thanks.

And I've also been reading about how manually flashing on CIDxx phones will limit some capabilities. Is this true? What CIDxx is W760i?

If i'm not mistaken the w760 is db3150 which makes it unsupported by xs++, setool lite far manager. So you'll have to pay if you want to flash it.

W760 is CID 52. Yet, it is DB3150 and not hackable. No free way to flash it yourself. You must pay. Or just run SEUS to get it flashed for free, but not debrand it at all.

Thanks guys, this is very useful info. I just wonder where you guys get all this. I seem to have searched the entire (or a lot of) the internet for this but no luck.

Is there a systematic approach to actually find this information out though?

Yeah the system from a newbie's point is this,

First a post is made, which creates a hype(if its of SE or something which is an SE "killer"), and then the flood is created by the moaners(who usually will make big things out of slightest issues, and post it all over again and again and again and...). Then there will be THE FIGHT[fanboys VS fanboys(claimin not to be fanboys)]. Its a great time pass .

However, dont let the negativity(and +vity) get to you.

Oh and search system, dont forget it(especially google's)

Bump.

I have a w760i.

I use blyk, which requires me to have the correct mms/internet settings to receive adverts and free credit.

I updated my phone using SEUS, and it replaced the phones settings (to the default O2 ones)

Blyk settings should work by testing them then simply receiving them, but my phone says 'authentification failed' and i cant work out how to install them manually.

Any help please?
