It hasn't been tested with s500 firmware, my s500 is running w580 firmware but it might work on s500 firmware.

the display driver(dispdriver) is the responsible of the on-screen image, like the video driver on a pc. this driver enhances the current one.

So this means it will work with S500... If it works with S500 flashed to W580 - display are the same. No reason for the driver not to work...
