Does anyone here have an Ipod touch who has jailbroken it and installed apps/games etc?
Was just wondering if maybe I could add you to msn or something and you help me out 1 night with a few questions I may have.
Thanks

Cheers for that mate, not sure I'll be doing it in dos, think I'll follow this method here:
http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92404
1) Download or find yourself a copy of the 2.0.2 firmware (See step 2 of first guide)
* iPod Touch File Name: iPod1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw
* iPhone 2G: iPhone1,1_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw
* iPhone 3G: iPhone1,2_2.0.2_5C1_Restore.ipsw
2) Make sure you are on a clean 2.0.2 firmware. YOU NEED TO BE ON 2.0.2 TO USE THIS TUTORIAL. IT WILL NOT UPGRADE FOR YOU. YOU CANNOT USE THIS TUTORIAL FROM 1.1.1/2/3/4. You do not need to restore before this if you don't want to lose music, contacts, etc, but it is recommended.
3) Extract the contents of both of the .zip's above to a folder on your Desktop
4) Put the 2.0.2 firmware file into the folder you extracted the .zip to
5) Plug your iPod in, but close iTunes when it pops up
6) For safety, open the task manager and close all processes that contain the words "Apple", "iTunes", or "iPod"
7) Run the QuickPwnGUI120.exe
That's the beginning bit of the tutorial, does that look right to you mate?
Just I'm not sure about this downgrading malarkey first of all, if I get stuck at any time mate, recon I could PM you or something?
Thanks

iPhone and iTouch play MP4 and you can get them onto your device using itunes
you haven't said what format your videos are in but quicktime can convert some formats. I also use
DVD Catalyst which is not too expensive and does a perfect job

thank you very much Masseur,
Im sure they are MP4, actually they may be MPG, will have a look when i get home..... but i-tunes finds them on my hard drive, i check the selected songs in i-tunes and sync the music videos..... when when i look on my i-touch after disconneting I cant find them.... am I doing something wrong or is it just possibly the wrong format?
cheers
