can any one help please

after inserting a another sim in my friends k800 it went dead.

I try numerous ideas such as

trying another sim
restart the phone
remving the battery and start the phone again
over night charging
XS++
using flash drive
using the cable to turn on the phone
SEUS

and none worked. the phone is still dead.... the red light in the Ir is blinking therefore its reading nothing....

what could possible cause that problem...can a sim card permanently damage a phone....

the sim card is working in my phone as well as others so far (4 more phones)

please help me

What did you do to it with XS++... For such case you need to flash/update EROM. Not the firmware.

You have to flash it as a MAIN firmware file using XS++ and the phone will be fine.
