I know BMW started equipping their cars with Bluetooth capability as of last September. However, checking with my local dealer the only SE phone they support is the Ericsson T39. Any ideas about P800 integrated with BMW Bluetooth in a way that will allow use of the Multi-Information Display, steering wheel controls and phone's memory?

SAAB 9-3 Sport Sedan has Bluetooth built in that supports all Bluetooth equipped phones, pda's and computers. Volvo will have it in their next models.

Yeah? I suppose then you'll have to take your car in for a firmware upgrade :?

about 3000 SAAB 9-3 here in Sweden have a software fault, so when the engineheater is connected, it not just makes the engine warmer these cold winter days, it also drains the battery... this can be fixed by doing a software upgrade...

BMW's new 745i has Assisted Driving as one of the many items available for the car (not the onlye car that has it now!). All the steering, speeding and braking is done through electronic sensors. They work together with the multi-function iDrive system. The Bluetooth driving is not available yet, but that's a HUGE step to getting the phone to really control the car. I think that some more years will show us if I'm wrong or right.
