i think there is no way to download my friends. it's actually included on the firmware and i think there is no installer for that.

Yup, java messenger are way more better than embeded My Friend feature.
You can try it if you want to but if you already tried java messenger then you will loose My Friend for sure.
What's the catch if you're chatting with your friend but he get your message in 1 to 2 minutes after you click send?
Big no for me....
Quite useless to imo........

For me there is a difference. I use my friends because it is free. You can edit the server unlike java app messengers unless you modify the jar file itself. Here in the philippines, we have modded java app messengers like cellity, ebuddy and morange but i am not using it.
