Please help folks. I have been best friends with a woman for 4 years now. We used to talk on the phone for hours and got on so well. Then i fell for her and told her i was in love with her. Also on top of that i accused her of being with someone else and choosing them over me when it was not true. I admitted i was wrong and said sorry. But i hate the words sorry it sounds so weak and pathetic. She was resolute and did not wish to speak to me. But i miss her and want to get her back. Help guys or girls whats the best way to say sorry to a woman without sounding pathetic. She has such a good heart and i hate myself for hurting her cos she trusted me 100% but my feelings for her came out all wrong.

Do you prefer to let her go than telling her that you're sorry? Saying a word wont kill you. Just tell her how you feel and wait till she cools down.

best thing to do imo is to give her a little space.

wait a couple days before you try sort it out.

then just be entirely honest with her.

Ive fallen out with my best mates and known enemies make friends. All you have to do is leave it a few days/weeks and then just change topic like say do u want have coffee or an activity u used to do before you fell out. If ur mates they will come back:d

Man if you were that close and had 100% trust etc. She will still be your mate. Just go for a night out with her in 2 week and forget bout it

If your too proud to say sorry to her then you probably dont deserve a second chance with her.

Saying "i'm sorry" is not pathetic in any way.
It just shows how mature you are, and that you are able to assume your errors.

If she doesn't know you're sorry, why should she forgive you?

Plus, doing this and that without using the words "I'm sorry" will just get her thinking, "He trying to pick up from where we were, but he is not sorry for what he has done."

Yeah thanks im with you there i get what your saying. I have said it in the card and kept it brief. I know it means alot and i said it but you know what i mean if you keep saying sorry it sounds irritating. But anyway thanks i will keep you posted if she calls me. Im thinking the card would do the trial cos its remembering her birthday and saying sorry. Its been a month we have not spoken another friend of mine said give it a while. So i gave her space but dont wanna leave it forever.
