is GPS maps available in india ?

I am having SE p1i ....i have installed google maps ...but it does not show the current correctly....almost 600-1000 mt radius circle is displayed as location.

is there any way to get further accurate current location and street direction as well ?

the 600 - 1000 mt range is the distance of your current location from the nearest cell tower of your provider...airtel, voda...etc....not gps

I have the entire world set of Nokia maps (ver. 2.0) on my E90 and can locate most addresses in Bombay and Delhi just fine. The level of detail is pretty decent though it doesn't match up to the finely rendered maps in my nuvi.

I do have GMaps on my P1i but have never had the chance to try it. Try using the P1 with the SE GPS add-on and use TomTom/Wayfinder maps. They have a better degree of accuracy.
