my phone isnt alerting me when i receive a txt! sound or vibrate or on screen im confused

if silent, it will vibrate only. if not, it will sound and vibrate.

Or maybe some sort of corruption with the firmware too... Try restarting the phone or a master reset if nothing helps...

Probably it hadn't been switched off for a long period. My p990 starts to act weird when it hasn't been off for a long while.

Well never had such problems with my P1. Before I buy it I was reading some people complaining about inbox issues or issues like this and I was a little scared if the my p1 will do it too. But after 3 months and a lot of mods the phone is still running perfectly. Without any single issues or crash.
