After making a backup of my GDFS I tried to convert my K800 into a K810 but got the flashing white led thingy that happens on newer (CID53 when bought) K800 phones.
Long story short, working, after putting stuff from K800 FS (ifssettings) on the phone:
- Screen, right resolution.
- Sound
- Flash menu's
- Phone calls, sms, etc
- Keypad, power button, volume keys
Things not working or working-ish:
- Free phone memery is only 15MB, with K800 firmware this is about 70MB
- RER Light stays on during phone boot, turn off once booted.
- Camera doesn;t work properly, sometimes I see things in the view finder, most of the time it asks to open the lense cover
- On bootup it wants to format the memory stick, even tho there was no memory stick present.
- Joystick, seems to be misconfigured, directions are mixed up.
Flashing K770 MAIN with K800 GS results in white screen and flashing RER light.
All in all, nice experiment but I dont know enough to make things work properly. I've also tried to flash W880, W850, and K550, all failed to flash at all. Maybe its due to the CID53 from the factory too?
If anyone knows other firmwares that might work on the K800 let me know, I'll try them.
Just tought I'd share. Going to fiddle with W660 firmware now

W880 I know can be flashed with K800. But camera is not working and the keys are messed up...

On my k800 i tried w880, w850, k770, t650, w660 and k810
If you want to try(read lose your time) then flash your mobile...

t650 is like k770
w660: camera, joystick, and resolution is 176x220.

Yes
only issue are light effects, but always you can put old(k770 or t650) light effects
