Not 10 band but.....

GlassPlayer v2.1.02 - This has to be the first fone Java app with a working Equalizer.

My own 2 cents...

The Demo version only supports mp3 so if you want to play other audio and video formats like wma, real, 3gp, mp4, aac then you have to pay for full version.

The Eqaulizer will only work on Sony Ericsson JP-8 mobile fones only (i.e. W890, C902, K850 ). The EQ didn't connect up on the K800, but picked up fine on the W890. This app has developed fast since I last tested the earlier disappointing demo version. I have just downloaded the new Demo from SoftPedia.com and tested the Equalizer feature and 'Yay' it actually works , it is a 5 Band equalizer. Tested on my W890.

If anyone can get any Emulator screenshots for people then that would be cool, emulator must be an SE Java Platform 8

Although there are still things about this app that need developing such as: the playback controls, id3 tag reading, album art reading can be improved, some UI fetaures can be added. Like KD Player, GlassPlayer has the ability to add one or all tracks to a playlist and the ability to minimize in the background. GlassPlayer has tabbed interface to switch between the player, playlist tab and file search tab.

Other features boasted by GlassPlayer are: Touch Screen support - which ones I dunno, Video Playback, Network Radio, streaming support, multi filetype support - still only the filetypes that your own fone supprots.

GlassPlayer has a sleep timer, for which I have not tested, but looks like you can enable to play music for a user set time up until you sleep .

There is none of the smaller useful features that KD Player has which is single track repeat, bitrate & sample rate reading, extended id3 tags of publisher & composer - but this is not important

Have to enable read permissions to be able to browse and play for music.

The app costs €2.99 (euro) and you can pay by PayPal.

The official website is here; although site may be down at the moment

Guys its just a Demo,

It works on my K800 and W580 (both JP-7 handsets) and would work on older handsets like w810, k750 too.

It is not like KD Player in which you have to download the application by screen resolution size

The wma, real, 3gp, mp4, aac formats are not supported in the DEMO version only in the full version and only still if your phones support these formats first.

I dunno if we are allowed to discuss a creation of a 'cracked' version of this app like how MobyExplorer 3 got cracked, I wanna test all the features properly - I dont think that discussion of 'cracks' is allowed here

i dled the app for my w300 and it was wonderfull, the jad comes whit all the certificates so you dont have to press ok on every song
the only bad thing is that is just a demo!!!!

KDplayer is GOOD but it doesnt work whit the custom Audio drivers well you cant have it all!!!!

PS: Walkman 1.0 sucks at shuffling songs
