I was just about to buy g900 this week. However, reading the latest info about Nokia 5800 specs (and specially its price) I can no longer decide.
What do you think?

5800 is going to destroy the G900, that much is clear.

Doesnt matter. ITs not like the G900 has a full sized QWERTY keypad. We have enough full touch screen phones to know now that a phone can work without a keypad.

This comparison 5800 vs G900 (GSMArena.com) may help you decide which one to buy.

. . .

I doubt that Nokia intended the 5800 to be a G900 killer
They probably want to gobble up some iPhone market share. Consider this: of the features missing in the iPhone (video calling, MMS, video recording, A2DP, add-on memory cards, etc.), how many of those are also missing in the 5800?

Well obviously full touch screen phones can work without a keypad, otherwise we wouldn't have them. All i'm saying is that having a touchscreen phone or a keypad phone, or a combo touchscreen/keypad phone for that matter, is a personal preference.

My biggest concern regarding 5800 is its size, I have always used small phones.
I am afraid that the 5800 wont fit my pocket? anyone familiar with such sizes?
Is it easily pocketable?

I like big screens, but dislike big phones.
I know it is physically impossible to increasing the screen size without increasing the phone size!!!
