www.totalgsm.org should offer UIQ phones unlocking. It's not free, but it's worth the money.

Hey noname, is your phone branded (came from a service provider)

If not the default lock code is 0000

Whilst XS++ can't reset the phone lock code, it sure can read it. That should be enough to get into the phone and change it to one you can remember.

On my M610i XS++ does this near the end after connecting it:

09:38:10|
09:38:10| ... and the phone lock code is: 0000
09:38:10|

Thats what you need isn't it ?

Yeah didn't think of that one... Forgot that XS++ is able to read the phone lock code on smartphones.

Maybe, and maybe not... The chances of reporting back are small... Not many users report their success back on esato as I have seen... Only unsucceses and more need of help are posted back mostly.
