Just a suggestion to @laffen.

Please update the Mobile phones section on this site(that is when you get the time).

Just browsing through it I found quite a few errors in the spec list on some models. As I think alot of ppl use that section as a source of refference, I think it would be in our best interest if all the facts about all the different models were accurate.

Cheers.

I have to agree with Raven... especially when it comes to specs. Maybe I don't understand what the 'Synchronization' field means but I can certainly sync my t68i with Outlook using IR, BT and SyncML... show me a Nokia that will do all that.... yet for some reason The phones that support this have that fielad unchecked... while crappy Nokia phones that only support some bare-bones cable sync-ing have it checked... whassup with that?

@laffen

Sorry dude... jumped the gun there a bit. I take back the Nokia bit and I think I understand what you mean by 'Synchronization', I assume you mean that the phone has a cable sync cradle like a PDA. I'll honestly tell you I'd never use the cradle if the PC or other device I were sync-ing to supported any wireless standard... but anyway I think I get it now.

Ps. I also saw that SyncML has its own category...

Agree. Let me know what errors you have found. When I add new phones there, I check the manufactures web sites for info and only add the information I can confirm. I.e if the manufacture data for a phone model is listed with bluetooth the bluetooth field on Esato is marked. But if the phone not is listed with bluetooth the information may or may not be confirmed. It just resently that I added a field to the database about non-confirmed data. You'll notice that on the newest model added. Some of their features are listed as "NA" = Not Applicable, Not confimed. The Esato data for unreleased phone models like the T316 is incomplete because I haven't found any confirmed data for the model. I should of course update the data when the official data is available, but sometimes forget to do that.

@laffen, that is perfectly understandable. Just as an example, N7650 is listed not to have Java, and N9210 is listed not to have a colour screen...lol.. I know that when it comes to Nokia there's hard to find all the specs of the models on their site (especially new models), but these two models have been on the market for quite some time already... Anyway, this is just meant as a suggestion to look back on some of the models specs and update where the need is... Cheers. This post was posted from a P800

And perhaps adding a few features to the list would be good idea now... Like whether a model has Speakerphone or not, and what kind of audio format it supports(midi,wav,au,imelody,mp3 etc.), screen resolution and number of colours supported etc... This post was posted from a P800
