The ZTE 256. An absolutely crap phone compared to just about any manufacturer on the market bar sagem.
Cheap build quality, tinny sound, ugly.
So how can it be value for money you say?
Well, despite it's crapiness, it actually has some reasonable specs aka hsdpa, gprs modem capable, bluetooth, usb cable, microSD expansion, mp3 player, 176x220 screen, camera button, dedicated media buttons, video recording (only qcif), a reasonable (not great but usable) 1.3MP camera, java support.
The formfactor is clamshell, includes a front colour screen as well.
Nothing about this phone is anything better than "reasonable" ie: it's not completely crap but nothing to write home about either. But it all works as designed.
But what makes this phone good value is not it's features (most midrange SE or Nokia have better), but the fact that the handset itself is only $49! ($35 US)
I grabbed this phone because I needed a cheap handset to operate on Telstra's NExt G network for the odd jaunt into the country, and was pleasantly surprised at the comprehensive features.
Going by my mum's hardy ZTE F156, despite the cheap looks it should be reliable too.
