I really would like to punch them in the face three times!!! I really hate the sync tool. I now have three entries of every name in my contacts...

You have to choose how to sync in the settings. You have a lot of options -from keep all contacts in phone, to keep all contacts in PC. I made the same mistake the first time I synced my old T68i, so I was very carefull with the settings the first time I synced now. I have now synced 4 different computers with my P800 -all with great result.
