> Nokia 7373 - White Screen
Bookmark topic
About a year ago my girlfriend dropped her 7373 in a small puddle of coke (In car drinks holder) and it went off, assumed water damage. I have just found this phone lurking in a drawer so decided to test it. The phone lights come on keypad and screen but the screen is just white. I thought I have nothing to lose so started to take the phone to pieces. Behind the screen was lots of sticky cr*p so I started to clean this up and some of the connections were gunked up so cleaned these as well.
I put the phone back together and tested it and this time the screen lit up and Nokia was displayed for about 3 seconds and then went white again. Does this mean that if I keep having ago at the connections and try to clean them it could work because there was life in the phone.
Any tips on what to do? use?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, I left it apart last night and gave it another quick clean this morning and plugged it back together and amazingly the phone works. Every so often though the screen goes white for 2 seconds then comes back on. Im guessing like said above the connections are dirty but can any one shed any light on how to clean them?
Quite small and fidderly.
Thanks
