Hi all,

I haven't updated anything on my phone since I've bought it in 2006,
To the most I've only accessed the service menu...

It was connected to my computer using the USB cable last night. This morning, I could still make phone calls with it together with my HBH-DS980 BT handfree. However, after some my DS980 switched to my laptop, I found the phone is not responding to any key press at all. So I tried shutting it off by pulling out the battery. However, after I've done that the phone cannot "boot" up --- it's just all white screen and a few vibration that I'm getting.

I've tried rebooting many time (without any USB / charger cable plugged in), but it is still like that.

Please give me some suggestion.
What can I do to it???!!! Thanks a lot!

Flash your phone using XS++ software.
Search the forum for tutorial.

Then does it mean that all my messages, ringtones, songs, pictures, videos, and programs will be deleted as well?
Some of these are stored onto my M2 mini card...

How and what do you guys do to avoid losing these information while "playing around" flashing this and that firmwares onto your phone?

If you can't turn on the phone, you can't save the data in the phone memory... Only the memory stick will stay untouched if you remove it from the phone while flashing...

Use this tutorial to flash:

I cannot backup my GDFS through XS++ 3.1 the process was stuck at "Activating GDFS"

Does it mean that my phone is totally dead?
Or can I use GDFS from somebody else but of a same K800i (I have a K800i) or K810i model?

Thanks!

NEVER try to use GDFS from other phone, it will surely kill your phone.
Do SEUS first, if it succeed them you are saved but if it wasn't go well with SEUS you can try flashing it yourself using XS++ or SETool2lt
