A prototype is usually brown(certify). If the phone you got is a smartphone you should use the EMMA service, if not you can change it with xs++, far manager or setool

No, prototype have BLUE certify, not BROWN. You need special version of EMMA for prototypes or SEtool box 3 to flash phone

Will it make the phone RED? so it can be updated via SEUS afterwards?
