I have had a couple of complaints about distortion when I am talking on my T68. I read that R2A software had improved this but also read somewhere that there is a hardware fix to reduce sensitivity. Any one know if this is the case?

Same problem =(
I've got R1B - old one. I'll wait 4 R2B with MMS support. Hope it'll change the situation.

Trick is that you gotta have the phone at least 3cm away from your mouth that way the others hear you clearly and DONT SHOUT into the sensitive T68 mic!!!

HI John,

I just surfed through your website and sent you an email. Just need to know. I tested the T68 on a few separate occasions and found that the Mic is indeed Over Sensitive and tends to pick up a lot of backgorund noise. What I need to know is that according to your website, R2A solved this problem. How true is this?

Please confirm.

Thanks.

I don't have the problem since R1C. But this may be case-to-case.

I've had a problem with the mic also. But not when talking on the phone, but when inserting voice commands. I have 2 T68's at this time, the older one is manufactured in week 40 something, and the newer one in week 52.
When I record a voice tag on the older phone, it will be so loud that I have to move the phone from my ear. And when I try using the voice tags the phone just doesen't understand me. I even tryed adding voice tags via headset. And nothing works. I've had the phone updated with every SW version that has been out, I have also had the mic adjusted (something they can do in the workshops) and that has not solved the problem. The phone also gives a massive feedback if I enter the Microphone test menu. I'm beginning to believe this is a hardware issue.

The newer phone does not seem to have this massive feedback, nor the problem with voice tags as well as its battery is not "a little bit" loose and the keypad is fully illuminated. So I'm beginning to think that Voice Dial issues are hardware related!
