Also, any updates on MMS support?

Deric,

I saw your post on other thread re: MMS. You said:

"MMS: mid to late Feb '03"

Thanks for the info.

ok, first problem is that i need a phone NOW! and i don't have one at all. if ATT is really getting the P800 in march is there anything i can do with them where they will let me upgrade phones or something? or should i just get a t68 and wait a year?

You're elligible for an upgrade every 6 months w/contract extension, so if you get a t68 now, you'll have to pay more for the P800 in march

Really?? Woohoo!!

Well, maybe.

I am still dissatisfied with how AT&T is:
handling MMS (or not!)charging 0.10 for every outgoing SMS on top of the $13 I pay for 4 MB of data - what BS!refusing to unlock their phonesand most recently, there are reports that new AT&T branded T68i's and T300's have had the 'save picture' menu item disabled - very disturbing!

So on second thought, I'm not sure if I will get a P800 through AT&T when it becomes available. Perhaps I will order an unlocked unit from Europe and hook it up with a T-mobile SIM. Or it's possible that T-Mobile will have the P800 also by then. I'll have to do a cost/benefit analysis to see if I should cancle my AT&T account and pay the early termination fee, or just let it lapse after I sign-up with T-Mobile.
