convertdirect--free online flv converter
convertdirect started as an online service to download and convert a Flash Video / FLV file (Video format used by sites like YouTube, Metacafe videos,etc) to MPEG4
(AVI/MOV/MP4/MP3/3GP) file online.
The simplicity of this service is Just give a video URL and desired file format, convertdirect will download and convert videos automatically. Now this also means you can not convert existing flash videos on your disk.

Anyway here is screenshot showing three steps conversion procedure…:
1. Pls just paste youtube vide url or any other flv address on
www.convertdirect.com
2. Select a desired file format from drop-down menu. Available options: AVI, MOV, 3GP, MP4 & MP3.
3. Input your person email for receive your videos secretly and submit.
4. it will process your submit autoly
5. open your email and download them free.

I don't want a converter, I use super, I just want a way to click a link when browsing youtube that downloads the flv without converting it, and without me having to cut and paste anything or dig through my temp internet files cache!

Yeah,for most user, i think super is best!!, but for a guess, if you haven't enough power to install any software in some company, what do u do??

Keepvid is good for one or two videos, but still a painful process if you want to download a whole bunch of videos. You have to copy the url, switch to the keepvid page, paste the url, hit enter then right click and save. That's painful if you just want to line up a whole bunch of video downloads. I want a program for example that let's me right click the video while browsing youtube and and save target as, just as you do with any other download link.

If you're using Firefox,
install the Greasemonkey add-on and add
YoutubeUsableFix. You can download videos (MP4 and FLV), resize video windows, switch video formats, display all comments and do tons of other stuff. It's been an indispensable part of my browsing experience for many, many months. Give it a try - you'll never need to visit another youtube download service again.
