Only less than 4 months of use my girlfriend's G900 that I bought start to peel

And to add salt, the SE authorised service center says looks puzzled and can only can "Oh sorry sir I dont think its covered under warranty"

Anyone else had this problem??

If there are no scratches of the housing near the peeling u take it back and demand them to fix it since then they can't say it is your fault of miss use if there are no other damages on the housing.

@karun

the front cover for G700 is very different from G900. The plastic base surrounding the d-pad and 4-keys is a very thin plastic stick on with double-sided tape. Hence over time if the double sided tape ease off, the plastic base will peel off. I attribute this to poor or bad manufacturing design.

I would have thought it was the plastic cover which also covered the screen when bought new.... but this looks quite bad. Would ripping it all off help?

Cant be torn off nor peel off as if i did the whole base surrounding the 4 hard keys will be "naked" exposing the inner aluminium sheet.

The only way is to replace the entire front cover.

What a bummer like i said. Thought of keeping this G900 for a long long while since I love UIQ3 but now looks like I did better keep my W960 instead

Thanks and cheers
