as people are starting to want to see pics taken by the X1, I guess we may as well get this started
actually, the cam takes some of the best pics I've seen in a WM device.
I'll start with a couple of indoor shots just taken, with auto settings and limited indoor light. I'll do some outdoor pics tomorrow.
First, the obligatory coke can that I always do
and then a little Irish gentleman
edit: I realised that its taking quite a long exposure in this light and so I probably shook the camera a bit, so here's another try

my wife and I thought that before I posted it. strange really. actually the light doesn't seem to add much at all, except in very dark conditions

in the first it's added more shadow. Lights and flashes are usually best not used unless absolutely necessary, though multiple lights can reduce shadow, and for close up portraits, fill-in flash can be helpful

I can't tell for certain but it looks like the liquid level in the second shot has gone down. Sure this didn't help to steady the hand a bit?
