I go in with Obama.

Honestly, McCain doesn't inspire confidence. I've followed the road to the elections and I feel he (McCain) sounds confused at the most. Also, his running mate is hopeless! She's so clueless it is shocking. Even after a few coaching sessions from her party she's still a "bimbo".

Obama on the other hand, is calm and really reassured. He is statesman-like. He also has an equally capable running mate.

Being a non American I think Obama sounds the part. But, at the end of the day it is the American people that ultimately decide.

I think judging by the last few days events, it's fairly evident that Obama won't win, America aren't prepared for a black president, should he get in, I shouldn't imagine it'd be long before he gets assassinated, the deep south really really don't do black people, saying that McCain really doesn't seem to inspire, but I feel that he will win purely due to the fact he's white.

I'd just like to point out before you all shoot me down, I'm not racist/a white supremacist or anything like that, I just happen to think than Americans are that shallow.

That would be very sad.
If Obama loses based on his colour and I think that is the only way he can lose.
I heard people commenting on CNN the other day saying Obama does not represent America etc..

Early in his campaign some americans thought Obama was a terrorist because his name is similar to Osama.
Personally I think Obama is the better candidate. McCain seems to overshadowed by Palin

I thought that Obama's closing argument in Ohio last night was pretty strong and motivating. McCain, who also happened to be in the same state at the same time appeared to stumble a bit. The urge in his voice and deliverance of speech weren't up to the mark. My only major complaint, if it can be called one in the first place, is that Obama's PR seems to send out Tweets a bit more frequently than I'd like to see.

To tell you the truth, Obama trumping McCain or vice-versa wouldn't really affect me, so I'm just tagging along with the rest of the more serious voters.

I thought this contest was fairly tight until Mccain chose his running mate, a rabid hypocritical religious fundamentalist might turn on the extreme right in the US, but to the average voter, she resembles something rather scary.
Obama should win.

That is such a fair assessment there fatreg! I can't help but think his race is likely to be his downfall.

I agree. On performance Obama should win but I wonder if the electorate will let him be the first black US president.
